A Turkish intelligence operation in northern Syria resulted within the elimination of a high-ranking PKK/YPG terrorist, safety sources mentioned on Saturday.
Türkiye’s Nationwide Intelligence Group (MIT) “neutralized” Haydar Demirel, code-named Bager Türk and the phobia group’s so-called common supervisor of the Hol province in northern Syria, based on safety sources who requested anonymity because of restrictions on chatting with the media.
The terrorist, who had been adopted by MIT since 2020, was “neutralized” whereas coaching PKK/YPG members within the northern city of Tal Hamis in Syria.
In response to the sources, Demirel joined the phobia group in 1993, obtained coaching from its convicted ringleader Abdullah Öcalan between 1993 and 1994, after which took half in varied terrorist actions.
