The French International Ministry refused to answer questions concerning the crash of a helicopter, which was allegedly carrying PKK terrorists in northern Iraq.
The chopper crashed in Iraq’s Duhok area on Wednesday, and a day later Iraq’s Kurdish Regional Authorities (KRG) mentioned a few of these on board have been members of the PKK terrorist group.
In response to an Anadolu Company (AA) question concerning the incident, the French International Ministry mentioned: “Now we have no remark.”
The KRG earlier mentioned it had contacted the Iraqi authorities, U.S.-led worldwide coalition forces and Türkiye relating to the crash in Duhok.
It mentioned the helicopter didn’t belong to the PKK terrorist group, however quite a few its members have been on board the plane.
Preliminary findings indicated that it was a Eurocopter AS350 helicopter and that a number of the crash victims have been PKK terrorists. The chopper is designed and manufactured in France
An in depth investigation is underway to determine who owned the helicopter.
In its greater than 40-year terror marketing campaign towards Türkiye, the PKK – listed as a terrorist group by Türkiye, the U.S. and the European Union – has been accountable for the deaths of over 40,000 folks, together with girls, kids and infants.
